Weekly Writing Prompt #5
Today is the birthday of my other half. I love birthdays. It doesn't even have to be mine. It's such a great excuse to celebrate and eat cake. I love trying to surprise my partner but it's not something I'm great at. He usually guesses, which totally infuriates me. So in honour of his birthday and yet another attempt to surprise him, this week's prompt is "Surprise!". Get creative. Your character could be walking through the door and hear people yell surprise or perhaps they're waiting in the dark ready to surprise someone else.
